Sentimental Letter to Mom from a Grown Up Daughter

Here’s a Mothers Day letter from a daughter who has grown up and left home. It’s ironic that we really learn how to appreciate our moms when we’re no longer under her care. Send a letter like this to your mom in Mothers Day and touch her heart in a sentimental way….

Dear Mom,

Sometimes I wonder if anyone else will care for me the way you do. I’ve been looking up to you for years and trying my best to be like you, but I know I can only be half the woman you are.

You are the best, Mom!

This Mother’s day, I hope to share with you my thoughts and prayers. I hope that through this letter you will feel the depth of my love, and I can touch you although I’m so far away.

Do you remember when I was younger, you used to tell me that not everything will go my way. And that I have to be patient and work hard to really get what I want? You were absolutely right. I know now how hard work and patience will always bear fruit in the long run.

Whenever I feel impatient, frustrated or lonely, I only need to think of you and your unending devotion to us, your children, to feel inspired.

I cannot thank you enough for the lessons that you taught me.

Mom, always remember that even if you can’t be by my side now, I’ll still be here for you. I will always be here for you, even if I’m busy or wrapped up in my work. You will always be special to me and I thank God for giving me a chance to live life with you.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Your Daughter

Here’s a letter you can write on your greeting card for giving to mom on Mother’s day. Enjoy!

Mom,

I know in my heart that you are my soul mate. I thank God everyday for this wonderful relationship that we share. All my dreams and hopes are for you, and though you might not always see the way I do things now, I know you always trust me to do my best.

We’ve always had our secret place, and even our secret look and secret handshake. You know, whenever I feel down and sad, I still go to our own happy place. I remember you talking to me softly and telling me everything’s going to be fine. That’s how much I value your trust in me, Mom. I know you have faith in me so I do my best to get through all my troubles with you as my model of strength.

Even when we’re apart, believe me when I say you will always be in my heart. I will never forget the way you held me when I thought I had no one to turn to. Mom, I cannot thank you enough for being there for me, even when you’re really so far away physically. I miss you and I will always love you.

A Letter for the Best Mommies in the World

Dear Mommy,

I cannot thank you enough for all the things you have done to me. For taking care of me from that moment you knew I was already living inside your womb, and kept me safe for several months inside until the time I was born to the moment I started walking and talking.
You were there when during my first birthday, to my christening, up to my first day in school.

You patiently helped me through my homework, even in donning my clothes and tying my shoes.
As I grew up, you taught me things that will be kept for a lifetime. Despite some bad things that I’ve done along the way, you still accepted me with all your heart. You always loved me and took good care of me.

Words will never be enough just thanking you for everything. I hope and I pray that you’ll be safe as always and enjoy life to its fullest. I am so proud, so blessed and immensely happy being you as my mom. I love you so much Mommy.
