Grandmother Story: Living with Nature
My grandma loved eco-things. She said that the world needs more people who care. She passed away last year, but I get reminded of her every time I see something that is remotely related to the things she loved. Like this ecologically friendly bag from Gifts Personalized. She would have loved it!
Caring in our own way means being aware that there are other people who will come after us, and they will need what we have now. She, my lola, lived for almost a century. She knew how it was to see the world so green and nurturing. She often talks about water and how it has a way of cleaning itself when people used it properly. No matter how many people bathed in rivers, used water daily for their crops and other things that they need it for, it will always get filtered by Mother Earth so that people may drink the purest water.
She said that there was a time when people never wanted more than Nature can give, and that they always took only their share. If greed was gone, green will return.
How wonderful it must have been to live during those times when people still cared.
