Love has been the cause of alliances and the reason for battles.
How it gets expressed and it’s intensity determines the magnitude of the damage or the blessings it brings.
Love may be expressed through words. One would use pigeons for the purpose of sending out an S.O.S. to someone who might need to know that you’re there waiting. Or the proverbial letter in a bottle. How is it that sometimes what we read or hear from others somehow reflect what we tell ourselves so often? That we are in love, that we hurt, that we hurt because we love?
There is something humble, thrilling and romantic about reading words or hearing those sweet things from someone you regarded as a stranger. With that said, I want to thank the person who made me happy this past days just by saying “I love you”.
And for saying that, sweet heart, I love you too.
